Food and Drinks were soooooooooooooo fire! Alana our bartender was amazing!! Melanie so so so sweet and made a birthday stop so special!! Views are such a plus as well!!! TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!
Fantastic Mexican food with such a stunning view!! We sat on their heated patio and couldn’t stop taking in the breathtaking mountains and Hudson River next to our table. It was a chilly day, but they kept the heat at the perfect temperature, so we were super comfortable. The restaurant is also so beautifully decorated inside! The whole experience made us dream of warmer days. Our server was so attentive and friendly - he made an effort to talk to us besides just getting our orders! Lots of shareable dishes here, which was nice because I visited with my parents. Highlights included the queso fundido and asada mixed grill! This was such a nice lunch outing on our day off from work, and I’ll definitely be keeping it in mind to visit again when the weather warms up!
We stopped by Beso's for Saturday night dinner. It was packed with people, and the ambiance at sunset was perfect, with stunning views of the Hudson river. The servers were friendly and fast, and best of all: the food was excellent. The swordfish tacos and the Mexican corn were especially winners. Unlike other reviewers, we found the prices to be very reasonable, and reflective of high-quality food (although we were coming from New York City).
Melanie, Alana, and Carson are amazing! Alana makes the best drinks. The atmosphere is cozy. This is a great stop if you're in Newburgh. Food is amazing, drinks are even better. Worth the stop for sure.
We recently visited Beso Bar and tried a few dishes along with one of their signature cocktails. The Pinches Nachos were loaded with flavorful toppings and perfect for sharing, while the Beso Fries had a nice balance of crispness and seasoning. The Empanadas were freshly made and packed with delicious fillings, a real treat. Beso Me Much cocktail, made with mango puree. It was refreshing, well-balanced. The view of the Hudson River was gorgeous!
UPDATED REVIEW: We went back for lunch and had the most amazing experience. Windows are open to the river views, service was attentive. Food had great flavor and presentation. We got a pitcher of Mezcal and it was strong and delicious. Changed to five stars on everything! Thank you Beso for allowing me a second chance. Highly recommend. INITIAL REVIEW: On Saturday night I called in advance to reserve a table for two. I was told they only take reservations for ten or more but they had a table for two open right now. They asked for my name and I told them I’d be right over. I arrived and they told me there is no table for you and we do not have your name on the wait list. I showed the call on my phone with the time to the woman at the podium and still they wouldn’t seat us. One hour wait and we go to the bottom of the list. The lady at the podium suggested we check the bar for seats but unfortunately that was full. There was an open table for two tucked away on the far side of the bar completely empty. I kid you not. I had been looking forward to trying this place out and now, I will never go back. I felt like it was a manipulative move to get me there to wait on line. No thank you. UPDATE: The Management Company has reached out to me, apologized, invited me back and offered to make this right.
Lovely atmosphere! Tacos were all great. We regularly frequent Hudson taco and this 1,0000% is changing that! Don’t let the host fool you- he’s kinda dry, but our server Michael was attentive, funny, and so welcoming. He was fantastic! We will definitely be back! Watermelon marg with tajin
Been here twice and love it, Perfect place for quick bite and very well made drinks.... I have seen the 1 tacos they’re tiny but very flavorful not my best but will do for a buck anyways the view is amazing specially sunset into evening. I personally love the decoration as well the restrooms are very clean and the waiters and waitress’s super attentive and chill’....
